Minutes Summary for 03/17/2009

Meeting was called to order by Sam KG9NG.

Treasurer's Report - $4,977.90 ($2,341.88 checking, $2,636.02 money market), 96 members.

Our guests were Norm W1FIF and Rich KC9MCZ.

No DX news.

Repeater news - BARS still has the hang-time at 0 due to interference.

VE Report - 3 General. The next General class will be the first weekend in June.

Several members participated in this year's Wisconsin QSO Party.

Many spots are still available for this year's Field Day. Kevin has agreed to be the cook again and put up signs.

MARA will have a table at the Milwaukee Super fest, and FLARC members will be working with them.

Volunteer positions are open for the MARA Ham Fest.

A motion was made by Ed Toal N9MW to make an offer to CWRA for their 94 repeater and its location. Seconded by Doug Ward W9DCQ. Communication will be made with CWRA and we will revisit the idea as a group next month.
