Repeater news - MARA is running without any issues. The amplifier for the '76 repeater has been turned back on, but at reduced power.
Dairy Land Dare is coming up on August 15th starting and ending in Dodgeville. Contact Luke KC9IFF if you are interested in participating.
September 19th and 20th will be FLARC's next technician class, at the Space Place on Park St.
FLARC got second place in this year's QSO party.
Field day went well this year.
Thomas KE6CBR will be the fox for this year's fox hunt. The fox hunt will start at 7:00 pm. In order to give fox hunters a better first reading the hunt will start from Garner Park, instead of the Red Cross parking lot. Transmissions will be for 15 seconds once every minute.
VE Report - June 6th we didn't have any participants. June 7th was 1 tech, 10 generals, and 2 extras.
Buck Night - W9IXG, N9PHR, AB9FN, N9MW, KC9FMY, KB9VHF, W9UAX, W9RNF, KF9AQ, W9DGI, KB9LYM, KC9MDA, NQ9A (winner).
Tonight's presentation was by W9YHF on creating the hardware and software to implement the AX.25 and APRS protocols.
