Treasurer’s report – 44 members, $4860. 1 member paid for 2011 as well.

No awards or upgrades.

VE Report – January - 1 tech, 1 extra. February – first class: 2 techs, 4 generals, 3 extras, last Sunday’s class – 23 tech, 1 general .

Jefferson Ham Fest – March 14th
CQ 160m SSB contest is February 27th and 28th.
ARRL International DX CW contest starts February 19 at 6:00pm and ends the 21st at 6:00 pm.
Propagation has improved thanks to 3 active sun spots.
6m has been open for the last week. The call frequency is 50.125 MHz, 50.110 QRP, and 50.260 FSK. The band seems to be best from 5:30 pm to about 10:00 pm.

Repeater News – Cambridge and MARA are both active. This Thursday BARS will be showing the radio room at UW Hospital at 7:00 pm, go to the “E” elevator and take it to the 7th floor. The “E” elevator is to the left as you enter the hospital entrance.

Buck Night – W9IXG, WB9UAX, W9JEN, W9REO, WB9AUZ, K9APW, N9PHR, KF9AQ, KB9GP, KC9GPG, K9CAL, WZ9I, KF9ZB (winner).

Fox Hunt – Thomas will be having his monthly fox hunt this Saturday at 3:00 pm at Garner Park. This month will be an on foot hunt within the park.
